Might be okay Ideas.
I have some I ideas for the Game. I would like to express them and get the opinion of thers.
-Firstly: Customization! People LOVE to be able to make their character their own! True Guild Wars has the option of hair, face and height. But, looking beyond that, to be able to design our own faces, our own body design. Dying items are fun as well, BUT, imagine that the upgrade components changed the appearance of the weapon! A Bow Grip which adds metal plates to the bow! Or a Shield Handle, that give the Holder a longer handle or different method of holding it! Food for thought eh? But what about Guild Halls. HERE I think there is more than enough room for improvment. Just imagine placing the Storage, Merchant or Trainer where you like! Better yet, buying visual upgrades, like a statue! Or even certain defence mechanisms! The few archers about the Hall are okay, but what if you payed 100,000 for a Mage who casts spells from a Tower which you baught before that! And assult items. Listen to this....Seige weapons! Buying catapults, balistae and ladders! Then have a form of GvG which involves getting seige weapons close enough and destroying the enemy's defence towers! Good bye Mages!
Food for thought hmm? I prey that the developers look at this thread with care. I can be reached at: [email protected]
Till next time, Bye

Buying items and npcs for your guild-hall disturbs Gvg, since it basically means that the one with the most pve-money wins.
I don't like Face customization, since it's hard to make a good face. Ever played around with the face creator of Oblivion? Damn it's hard to make a good one. Body customization is very hard because of armor, me thinks.

Putting money into PvP is a terrible idea, as it forces them to go into PvE (at least temporarily) in order to make sure that they're not at a total disadvantage when other people are attacking their guild halls.
That, of course, doesn't even touch upon the fact that it would be a hell of a lot more difficult tlo attack a guild hall with catapults and what have you torching half of your life before you even get close.
If it's not going to do much damage, then no one's going to use it.

instead of forcing you to buy stuff for pvp maybe just allowing you to customize locations of npcs to best fit your guilds fighting styles
